PANCHKARMA PROCESS

(1) Poorva karma – Poorva karma is the preparatory step in two parts.
- OLETAION (snehan) therapy.
- FOEMENTATION (swedan) therapy.
- ABHYANG (massage) therapy.

(2) Pradhan karma – consists of five purification therapies
- EMESIS therapy – Vamana
- PURGATION therapy – virechan
- ENEMA therapy – basti
- NASAL therapy – nasya
- BLOOD LETTING – raktmokshan.

(3) Paschat (post) karma – Follow-up therapies, immediate restoration of Agni.
